Value of Sleeping

Make sure  that you are getting enough sleep. After all the work out of the day, try sleeping for at least 8 hours at  night for this whole week. If you interfere with your sleep routine, your hormonal schedule can be  adversely affected. A study has shown that the effects of a worse sleep can be worse than you think. Scientists  who looked at 1,000 sets of twins found that the siblings who slept fewer than seven hours per-night were likely to weigh more because of genetic factors. In comparison, the siblings who slept seven  to nine hours (or more than nine hours) weighed less and were less likely to be affected by any inherited  obesity genes.

Sleepless is also related with  over eating as it causes you to eat more snacks and which can even make you tired before you really  start you work out. When your body doesn’t get enough sleep, it produces a hormone called  ghrelin and another hormone known as leptin. Leptin tells your brain when you are full, and  ghrelin stimulates your appetite. To cut it short, when you don’t take proper sleep, your body feels comparatively more appetite and your  brain doesn’t pass on message to your stomach that it is already filled. And hence you end up overeating.  So do all the exercises and other activities during the day as suggested in our list of how to lose belly  fat but take a good sleep too.

If 8 Hour schedule you perfectly, you..

8 Hours Schedule

Don't Lose Your libido

Studies  have shown that both men and women that don't get enough sleep have lower libidos. This can cause a serious  rift in the relationship as a low libido equals a lack of interest in  intimacy. Lack of sleep drains your  energy and increases your tension, which can make intimacy  less appealing. Men who suffer from  sleep apnea don't produce as much testosterone which also contributes to the libido. A little extra sleep  today can help you keep your partner up all night tomorrow.

Don't Lose Your Immune System

Not getting enough  sleep damages your body's natural healing abilities which will cause you to get sick more often. In  order for your body to heal properly you need an adequate amount  of rapid eye movement (REM)  and non-rapid eye movement sleep. Not getting this type of  sleep will make it much harder for  your body to fight off diseases.

There's a reason  why your doctor always recommends a good night of sleep in order to cure a cold. You could however  enjoy the alternative and just walk around sick all  the time, but  something tells us that hot date you're  going to take out on Friday night isn't going to be  very happy when you sneeze all over her.

Don't Start Hallucinating

Lack of sleep may  cause you to question your sanity in the first place, but when you start seeing things that aren't  really there, you are headed for a bad time. It's estimated that 80% of people who feel sleep deprived  will experience hallucinations at one point or another. If you  are starting to see things that you know  aren't really there, then you need to get some rest as soon as possible.

Hallucinations from  lack of sleep can make you disoriented and also lead to mental illnesses such as schizophrenia  and  paranoia. Just remember purple elephants don't exist so  if you see one, consider it a sign that you need  more sleep.

Don't Get Nauseous

Nausea is  never an enjoyable feeling and it's even less enjoyable when you're tired. Without a good night of sleep you  will get headaches as well as feel dizzy, and without a good sense of balance you could easily upset  your stomach. Lack of sleep messes with all sorts of internal processes and chemicals inside  your body that will cause you to feel nauseous.

Your body needs rest and if it doesn't get the proper amount, it will let you know that it isn't happy about it. Do yourself a favor and take a quick nap before you end up puking up last night's dinner.

Don't Become Cranky

How many  times have you gone to work or out in public when you're overtired and just felt like screaming at  everyone and everything in your path? Don't worry it happens to the best of us. The fact is that lack of sleep makes us all more irritable than usual.

When you're irritable you are naturally angry and start taking out your anger on people who may not deserve it. Do your  friends and coworkers a favor by getting a good night's sleep, or else you could end up saying  something that could cause your friends to hate you or you to lose your job.

Sleeping couple also can give you peaceful

Don't Die Young

Lack of sleep leads to  many different health related problems, but did you know that it could shorten your life span? Short sleepers tend to die much younger than people who sleep 7 to 8 hours a night. The lack of sleep can often lead to fatal health problems.

Studies have shown that people who don't get enough sleep are 4 times more likely to die over a 14 year period.  If you think you might be one of those people who doesn't sleep enough,  you should probably take a nap right now, your life may depend on it.

Don't Crash Your Car

Have you ever  driven your car while you are really tired and noticed yourself swerving?  Have you ever fallen asleep  while driving? These things happen all the time if you don't sleep  enough. Sleep deprivation is one  of the leading causes of automobile accidents on the planet. Lack  of sleep effects your alertness  which makes  it harder for you to react to certain situations on the road. If you feel too tired to drive, take the  bus because if that crashes at least it won't be your fault.
